Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF)

Hyattsville MYF
MYF members helped build a house for Mennonite Disater Service at San Jose 2007, the church-wide conference held in July in San Jose, Calif.

The Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF) offers faith, educational and social activities for junior high and high school-age youth. We have an MYF group for senior high students and a JYF (Junior Youth Fellowship) group for junior high students.

The groups meet monthly for a scheduled activity. They also meet every Sunday as a Sunday School class at 9:30 a.m. before the worship service, except during the summer.

Both groups are involved in Bible study and discussions, service projects and recreation together. Activities have included rock climbing, attending the Mennonite youth conventions, pizza and game nights, caroling, bowling, making home-made ice-cream, serving meals for the Warm Nights program and trips to the beach.
